Armen Smbatyan

Armen Smbatyan Secretary of the CEC Armen Smbatyan was born on September 26th, 1977 in Eghegnadzor. 1994-1999 - studied in Yerevan State University of National Economy/ Bachelor’s degree in Economics. 2001-2003 - studied in the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia/ PhD in Economics. 2004-2007 - studied in the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia/ MA in Law. 1998-1999 - worked in the RA Bank System as a Contractual Employee. 1999-2001 - served in the RA National Army. 2002-2007 - worked as Deputy Director of a construction company. In 2004 he was a Rural Communities Development Expert/ UNDP Armenia/. 2006-2007 - was the Head of the Staff of “National Year” SNCO and the Manager of the Concert “Charlez Aznavour and Friends”. 2007-2010 - was the Deputy Chief of Yerevan District Center of the RA State Labor Inspectorate. 2010-2011 - was the Deputy Chief of the RA State Labor Inspectorate. 2010-2011 - was the Chairman of Trade Union of RA State Labor Inspectorate. 2007-2011 - was the Deputy Chairman of the RA Territorial Electoral Commission №10. In July 2011 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Smbatyan was appointed member of the Central Electoral Commission, was elected Secretary of the Commission. Armen Smbatyan is married and has got a son.
