During the last electoral campaign, the CNE expressed to media representatives its willingness to make arrangements with the Ministry of Communication and Information for limiting the resort to cadenas during the electoral period. The CNE should promote a similar initiative for the next elections, possibly trough the form of a governmental decree or a CNE Resolution.
