NBC should have a more formal transparent mechanism for dealing with complaints about media violations during elections. The records of political content that the broadcasters are obliged to maintain during the campaign period pursuant to 5.2.7 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code should be made available to the public and candidates for inspection.
