Contestants should be given an opportunity to review their dossiers before the rejection of their candidature. The deadline for the final publication of the definitive list of candidates should be well in advance of the start of the campaign period in order to give candidates the opportunity to prepare their campaign and to enable rejected candidates to appeal their rejection.
