Art. 93. Article 15: Sources of Public Information
(1) Each Municipality shall issue a decree informing the voters of the time and place of the elections to be held in the respective Municipality. This decree shall be issued no later than fifteen days prior to the day of the elections, and advertised in a manner usual in the Municipality in question. Should a Municipality be divided into two or more electoral wards, the decree shall provide information on which sections or parts of the Municipality shall belong to which of the wards, and the decree shall be made public within the area of each of the wards.
(2) Local Authorities shall also notify the electorate of their obligation to prove their identity and show evidence that they are Citizens of the Czech Republic, and shall furnish further pieces of information required for a smooth process of polling.
Section C: the MoI develops information campaigns for voters on voting procedures and candidates.
Regional Offices are located in each of the 14 multi-member electoral constituencies. In parliamentary elections, they are responsible for the registration of candidate lists in the respective administrative unit. Additionally, they provide technical support to the CSO, disseminate information from the MoI to the municipalities, print ballots, and handle complaints on technical aspects deriving from the management of elections at municipal level.
Municipalities inform voters about the voting time and place, administer voter lists, distribute ballots to voters, set up polling stations, and appoint Polling Station Commissions (PSCs)

Prior to an election, the Electoral Commission must ensure that a nationwide voter information and education programme is implemented on a timely basis, to inform and educate voters concerning the voter registration process, candidates and political parties, voting procedures, including postal and pre-poll voting, if applicable and procedures for protecting electoral rights.
As noted at the Final Report of the Fijian Supervisor of Elections, during the 2014 general elections, "a special voter education session for persons with disabilities was held at the Fiji National Council of Disabled Persons in Suva. Television advertising on ‘What to do at your polling station’ with sign language was also aimed at persons who required special attention." A comprehensive radio and television voter education campaign was also launched in June, 2014.

The National Election Commission (NEC) of South Korea has a separate institute entitled ‘Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy”. The Institute has three major civic education programmes: (1) civic education for elementary, middle and high school teachers. The contents of this program is training for how to open children’s minds and methods to cultivate creativity, (2) civic education for general voters including university students, future voters, ordinary voters. The contents of these programs aim to prepare voters to have more political awareness, cooperative mindedness, leadership, and there are also special programs to help North Korean refugees prepare themselves to exercise their voting rights in the south, (3) civic education for opinion leaders such as journalists and NGO members in order for them to take a desirable role in democratic civic society. In addition, the institute has a Democratic Governance Academy to enhance democratic leadership programme for female leaders, college student leaders, youth leaders, and future leaders.

IFES had an active civic education program in Tajikistan. The four basic activities consisted of a civic education textbook for use in a high school civics course, democracy summer camps in which students learn to apply the principles of democracy in a practical way, Student Action Committees (SACs) formed for the purpose of addressing school and community problems through a democratic process, and Student Local Government Days (SLGDs) in which students “shadow” a local government official for a day.
The OSCE Mission to Tajikistan also launched a six-month civic education program aimed at raising awareness about human rights, democracy, and civil society. The initiative began with a seminar titled "Journalism for Youth" in Dusti, attended by 20 competitively selected students from Khatlon Province. The seminar covered the role of journalism in a democratic society, media legislation, and the importance of independent press, culminating in the creation of a Wall Newspaper.
As part of the broader program, the OSCE plans to conduct seminars across Tajikistan, engaging local authorities, political parties, law enforcement, women, and youth. Key topics include multi-party systems, human rights, freedom of the press, women's rights, local governance, and the prevention of torture. The program aims to strengthen civic awareness and democratic principles in Tajik society.

The ISIE is by law mandated to implement awareness and voter education programs and collaborate with all segments of civil society that work in the area of elections a both the national and international level.
As noted by the Carter Center observation mission, in light of the 2014 elections, "the ISIE did not launch its voter awareness campaign until one week after the voter registration process had begun". Civil society organisations were also involved in awareness-raising activities.
