Mexico: International comparative study on Electoral Inclusion, INE (2022)

This comparative study assesses the progress made on electoral inclusion in Latin America from a comparative perspective, and is enriched with some representative cases from other regions of the world. The intention of this study is to provide all interested audiences with a more or less rigorous and representative compendium of some of the legal provisions and, if applicable, institutional programs that have been implemented to promote or facilitate the exercise of the fundamental political rights of some groups or social collectives that —for various historical, legal-institutional, political, socio-cultural or simply administrative reasons— have not had (or do not usually have) the necessary guarantees, opportunities or facilities for their full exercise.
