Lebanon, Elections Data, UNDP Lebanese Elections Assistance Project (LEAP), (2017)

UNDP Lebanese Elections Assistance Project (LEAP) started its activity in October 2012 with the main objective to strengthen the institutional capacity of the national institutions and stakeholders in terms of electoral management and administration, in accordance with the international standards. In the implementation of its second phase (2015-2017), LEAP is providing electoral support in an electoral cycle approach aiming at developing the capacity of national stakeholders for the conduct of credible, periodical, transparent and inclusive elections in Lebanon, strengthen public confidence in the electoral process and, by this, contribute to democratic consolidation in the country.
