Aliyev loyalists sweep the board in Azerbaijan vote, Reuters (2010)

This article reports on the preliminary results for the parliamentary elections held on Sunday in Azerbaijan. Apparently, the leading opposition party, Musavat, did not win any seat in the parliament, while the ruling New Azerbaijan Party won 70 seats out of 125. Government-supporting small parties and "independents" won the rest of the seats at stake, making the "Hope" party the only opposition force in the assembly (one seat).
