Bermuda:Reform electoral system to combat racial polarisation UBP leader Kim Swan, Royal Gazette (2011)

Member of the third party, UBP, Kim Swan is calling for electoral reform in Bermuda to rid the Island of racial polarization after a recent survey showed that the opposition One Bermuda Alliance is attracting much of its support from whites and the older generation. The survey found that 72 percent of whites favoured the OBA. While the ruling Progressive Labour Party took only five percent of the white vote and 49 percent of the black vote.
