Bahamas: More than 80,000 registered to vote, Nassau Guardian (2011)

Bahamas' Parliamentary Commissioner Errol Bethel has confirmed that the voter registry has tripled in three months, since the prime minister’s announcement that the current register of voters will be terminated soon. At the time of the announcement, in March 2011, there were only about 26,000 people registered.
