Bahamas: PM: Christie failed to make proposals for elections act changes, The Nassau Guardian (2011)
The Prime Minister of Bahamas, Hubert Ingraham, has said that key reforms to the Bahamas' electoral system will be proposed by the end of the June. The reforms are going to be primarily concerned with the issue of electoral funding. The PM chose to move ahead in the formulation of these upcoming laws without input from the official head of the opposition because he says the latter party failed to get back to him in a timely manner.
