BRIDGE Training on Electoral Administration and Strategic Planning

This BRIDGE training in French is organised by CEI, the ACE Regional Centre of Central Africa and will be attended by representatives from various Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs) from the ACE regional network in Central Africa.

The training concerns the Modular Workshop on Electoral Administration and Strategic Planning. It will be preceded by a BRIDGE Showcase for senior EMB officials in the region.

The meeting will be dedicated to the promotion of democracy and aims to equip a group of election experts from Francophone of Central Africa some methodological tools enabling them, firstly, to strengthen the operational capacities of EMB of their respective countries and on the other hand, to design, adapt and deliver targeted training based on the BRIDGE Project.

It will also constitute the first step towards increasing the number of Francophone BRIDGE facilitators available and able to meet a growing demand from Francophone countries in  electoral training. This first step is also part of a broader development of a regional version of the French BRIDGE Project as a whole.

The meeting will finally discuss the information services, the network of electoral experts and capacity building provided by the ACE Electoral Knowledge Network.
