Election violence kills at least two in Cote d'Ivoire, Xinhua (2010)
This article reports on the episodes of election violence in Ivory Coast. The government stated that two people died during the riots triggered by the presidential runoff. President Laurent Gbagbo and former prime minister Alassane Ouattara were competing in the poll: in the first round Ouattara received 32% of the votes, while Gbagbo 38.3%.
