Ivory Coast premier annuls disputed voter names, Daily Nation (2010)
After President Gbagbo accused the electoral commission of admitting 429, 000 voters who had not been cross checked, Prime Minister Soro decided to annull these disputed names on the electoral register. As a leader of an arbitration committee that oversees the election process, Soro has the authority to over-rule the electoral commission. This move may lead to further delays of the poll.
