Outgoing Colombian president may run for Bogota mayor, The People's Daily Online (2010)

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe announced that he would like to run for mayor in Bogota's next year municipal elections. Uribe, one of the most popular presidents in Colombian history, will step down on August 7, when the newly elected Juan Manuel Santos will swear in.
