Spain: Cubans who became Spanish citizens recently are voting in Spain's elections Sunday, The Bellingham Herald (2011)

The article discusses the developments regarding the Cuban vote in the 2011 Spanish elections. According to a 2006 Spanish law, foreign born grandsons of Spanish immigrants are granted the Spanish citizenship and therefore can vote in the Spanish elections. Several Cubans living in Cuba requested mail-in ballots to cast their vote in Spain.
