Greece escapes snap general elections after local poll, Xinhua (2010)

This article reports on the political situation in Greece. According to the preliminary results of the local elections in Greece, the ruling Socialist Party will win in most of the regions. As a results, Prime Minister George Papandreou ruled out calling a snap parliamentary elections in the coming weeks.
