Guyana: Caribbean universities must teach elections management - GECOM Chairman, Demerara Waves, 2011
Chairman of Guyana’s Elections Commission (GECOM) Dr. Steve Surujbally is pushing for election management courses to be taught at the tertiary level in order to develop efficient electoral professionals. Dr. Surujbally made the statement at the opening of the recently held executive meeting of the Association of Caribbean Electoral Organizations (ACEO).
