Unasur Conditions Honduras' Return to OAS, Honduras Weekly (2010)

"The OAS voted unanimously to suspend Honduras' membership on July 4, 2009 in response to the ousting of Manuel Zelaya as president on June 28, 2009. Since the election of Porfirio Lobo as president on November 29, 2009, numerous countries who voted in favor of the suspension have re-established diplomatic relations with Honduras and made it clear that they will support Honduras' reinstatement. Among these countries are the United States, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and the host of the Lima meeting, Perú."
