India: Researcher arrested for alleged voting machine theft, Reuters (2010)
This article reports on the arrest of a security researcher who was investigating on the electronic voting machines used in Indian elections. The researcher, Hari Prasad, was arrested in Mumbai for supposedly stealing one of the machines. In April, Mr Prasad demonstrated that it was possible to attack the machines and fraud the elections.
