This article draws a comparison between the elections in India and the elections for the Security Council members. It is amusing to notice that in the General Assembly the voting system is quite outdated: the ballots resemble the ones from the 1952 general elections in India, and the Indian Election Commission has to deal with approximately the same amount of rules and paperworks.
