Jamaica: Lies, exaggeration, excesses too popular in Jamaican political ads, says lobby group, Jamaica Observer 2011
A lobby group, Jamaicans United for Sustainable Development (JUSD), is calling for the regulation of political campaign advertising. The JUSD has outlined a series of recommendation in a document submitted to the Electoral Commission of Jamaica (ECJ), in hopes that it will help to inform the effort now underway to make legislative changes to political party funding.
