Kenya:State officers hang on to party jobs as debate rages on what law says, The Standard (2011)

This article talks of the Ministers and Members of Parliament who are holding positions in political parties which is in contravention of the Constitution. The article further talks of the Registrar of Political Parties not being strict on all parties including the medium and small once like she is on the major two parties. The article sights a few example of party elections that have seen MP's being elected to party positions under the new Constitution and the various interpretations given by various quotas on the definition of a State officer
