Opposition warns of possible rigging in Comoros vote, Reuters (2009)
Eight out of ten opposition and independent candidates from Moroni South sent a letter to the electoral commission and the constitutional court complaining of electoral sabotage. The commission denied any fraud however, and the first round of voting monitored by troops and observers from African Union and the Arab League went on peacefully.
