St. Kitts and Nevis: Election Petition Case Gets Underway Monday, St. Kitts Nevis Observer (2012)

The long-awaited election petition case is scheduled to get underway in Nevis on Monday (Jan 16) with a new judge, Justice Lionel Jones, Senior Counsel from Trinidad. CCM’s Deputy Leader Hon. Mark Brantley filed the court petition on August 3 citing irregularities in the July 11, 2011 Nevis island elections, namely the “unlawful removal of more than 200 names from the voters list”.
