Macedonian diaspora readies to vote in June elections, SETimes (2011)
The article reports that the government of Macedonia will enable its citizens abroad to vote in the upcoming election without having to be physically present in the country. As the Macedonian diaspora population is roughly equal to that inside the country, increasing its representation inside the government is of considerable significance. The article also touches on other ways the electoral system in Macedonia is changing to do just that: increase representation of the Macedonians in the diaspora.
