Mauritania's ex-president heads new political party, Global Times (2010)

Former Mauritanian president Ely Ould Mohamed Vall was chosen to lead a new political party, the Alternative Forces Party for Democracy and Liberty (PFADL), the party announced in a statement on Friday 15 May.
