Nigeria: Confronting obstacles to the 2011 Elections, Vanguard (2011)

This article reports on the preparations for the elections in Nigeria. February 1 was set as the last day for the submission of names of candidates for the elections. In the meantime, the National Independent Electoral Commission is facing many challenges for the voters' registration exercise. Many observers now doubt that the INEC will be able to finish all activities by April.
