Nigeria:Electoral body may impose anti-violence oath on politicians Next (2010)
Attahiru Jega, the head of the Independent National Electoral Commission, is supporting the proposal of Mr. Muhammad Uwais, retired chief of justice, to make the politician take an oath of non violence, in order to have free and fair elections, and to avoid any forms of violence during the elections.
