UPDATE 3-Nigerian leader says too early to talk of 2011 run, Reuters Africa (2010)

President Jonathan has said that he will wait until after a timetable for elections in 2011 is released before announcing his decision on whether or not to run. The presidency unofficially rotates between the North and South and his candidacy could be controversial as it should be the North's chance to rule and Jonathan is from the South.
