Oman to make Majlis elections transparent with electronic voting, Khaleej Times (2011)

This news article says that this year’s Majlis Ash’shura elections in October will be "completely transparent and clean" without any chance of frauds. The assurance came during a function to launch the "Electronic ID Card Voting System" and the election logo.
