Philippines: Comelec to decide tomorrow on purchase of PCOS machines, The Philippine Star (2012).

This article discusses the the decision by the Commission on Election (COMELEC) whether or not to buy precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines used in the 2010 presidential elections for the 2013 elections. The problems encountered by the machines during the 2010 elections were the absence of ultra-violet lamps, digital signatures, problematic compact flash cards.
