Portugal: Cavaco Silva set for re-election, The Portugal News (2011)
This article presents the latest opinion poll in Portugal. According to the poll, incumbent President Cavaco Silva is the frontrunner, and there will not be a second round. Mr Silva is supported by 62% of the people interviewed, while his main opponent, Socialist and Left-bloc candidate, Manuel Alegre is backed by almost 40% of the voters.
