Sudan parties mull alliance in looming elections, Reuters (2009)

In order to challenge the president, more than 20 Sudanese parties including Sudan People's Liberation Movement consider fielding joint candidates in April 2010 elections. President al-Bashir and his party criticised and dismissed the move.
