Singapore: General Election was not an Internet election, says IPS survey, Today Online (2011).
This article discusses a survey by Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) which polled 2,000 Singaporeans to find out how much the Internet influenced views and votes. The result of the poll was that 30 per cent of the respondents relied on social networking site Facebook and blogs for information on the elections and 70 per cent relied on mainstream media - newspapers, television and radio.
