Slovenian PM calls for deal over early elections, The New Age (2011)
In Slovenia the next regular elections were planned for autumn 2012 but PM Borut Pahor urged all political sides in the tiny EU state to reach an agreement on early elections, after his coalition suffered a new blow last week. According to Slovenian legislation, the president can call snap elections only after three failed attempts by parliament to appoint a prime minister.
