Slovenian referendum rejects law allowing same-sex couples to adopt children in some cases, washingtonpost (2012)

The national referendum in Slovenia was held on a new family law that included a highly contested clause that would allow same-sex couples to adopt children in some cases. About 55 percent of those who took part in the referendum rejected the law, while about 45 supported it.
