Democratic Governance Community of Practice (DGCoP) Meeting

The Dakar DG KnowledgeExchange Forum 2010 has been designed as a mutual sharing and learning exercise where all participants can participate to promote knowledge products & services, and to foster cross-regional exchange. It is designed to tap into the notion of a “marketplace” where products are exhibited and lessons on innovations are learned.

Promoting Knowledge for Building an Effective, Responsive and Capable State

 

The prime objective of the ‘Democratic Governance KnowledgeExchange Forum (DGKEF)’ in Dakar is to promote active knowledge sharing, and, cross-regional, cross-practice knowledge exchange and collaboration among colleagues in the democratic governance practice.

As the theme of the 2010 DGCoP meeting will be to examine closely the role and nature of the ‘responsive, effective and capable state’, the DGKEF will present knowledge products and services aimed at building effective, responsive and capable state process. Knowledge products and services will be presented, along with a marketplace of current programs and tools for sharing knowledge.
