Senegal MPs to vote on Abdoulaye Wade run-off bill BBC Affrica (2011)

On Thursday June 23rd, the members of the parliament are due to vote for a new electoral bill. The day is going to be long because there are many protesters on the streets of Dakar who do not approve it. For the opposition the bill is intended to allow the President Abdoulaye Wade to run for a third mandate and to allow his son Mr. Karim Wade to be put in power.
