LEGISLATIVE AND MUNICIPALITIES

Sunday, January 18th 2009 elections for the Legislative Assembly and the Centralamerican Parliament, along with the ones to choose the Municipal Councils, took place. 9,533 polling sites along the 262 municipalities that conform the country.

Out of the 4.226,479 million citizens registered to cast their votes, about 53.64% actually did.
