PRESIDENTIAL

On Sunday, March 15th the elections in which Mauricio Funes, representing Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN) won by achieving 51.32% of the valid votes cast took place. At the 9,533 polling sites were cast 2'638,588 votes, which accounts for a turnout of 62.43%
