El Salvador: Funes Remains Ahead of Ávila in El Salvador, Angus Reid Global Monitor (2009)

Mauricio Funes of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) is the frontrunner in El Salvador’s presidential race, according to a poll by CS Sondea. 41.3 per cent of respondents would vote for Funes in next month’s ballot, while 30.1 per cent would support Rodrigo Ávila of the ruling Nationalist Republican Alliance (ARENA).
