Thailand: Candidates seek police protection, Bangkok Post (2011)
This article reports that the total of 123 candidates running in the July 3 general election have sought police protection. It is also reported that the Police Chief had instructed to take measures to prevent the use of violence between rival candidates during the election campaign.
