Thailand: Major parties reach out via social media, The Nation (2011)

This article reports that several major political parties in Thailand are leaning heavily on social media to attract voters. The Democrat Party, for example, plans to have its leaders talk to the public via livestream on facebook and offers iphone application, called “democractTH”. Its rival party, Pheu Thai, will soon launch its own applications for iPhone, Android, Symbian and BlackBerry.
