Trinidad & Tobago: 2010 Elections - Major Challenges ahead, Business Monitor International (2010)

Prime Minister Patrick Manning's decision to call a general election early is a further sign of the intense divisions blighting Trinidad and Tobago's political landscape. Trinidad and Tobago (T&T)'s Prime Minister Patrick Manning has announced that he plans to call a general election in the twin-island state this year, despite the deadline for the next election not coming until 2012.
