Addressing the Editors Forum organized by the National Electoral Commission (NEC), the NEC Director, Mr Rajab Kiravu said that the number of eligible voters would increase from over 15.9 million in 2005 to 21 million in 2010. "The costs are high because we're expecting to have 55,000 polling stations, each with not more than 400 voters and each station will be manned by 4 officers", he explained.
