Ukraine: Central Election Commission: Deputies with previous convictions may not run for elections, Kyiv Post (2012)

Member of Ukraine CEC Mykhailo Okhendovsky confirmed that convicted persons, who did not serve their sentence, are prohibited to candidate in the parliamentary elections. Such list of persons would include former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko and former Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko to that list.
