Uganda: ‘Rwandans want to vote in Ntungamo’, Monitor Online (2009)

Ntungamo Resident District Commissioner Peter Kibondo Rwakifari has dismissed claims that Rwandan nationals were registering as voters in Ruhaama and Rushenyi constituencies. The RDC was responding to fears expressed by residents in the areas that Rwandans are crossing over to register for the forthcoming general elections, arguing that this may create more ghost voters.
