Uganda leader orders rival not to issue poll result, Reuters (2010)

This article reports on the statements of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni regarding the next elections. The President stated that he would arrest his main opponent Kizza Besigye if he carries out his on vote count and announces the results. Museveni also stated that the electoral commission is the only authority who has the power to declare the results. The presidential elections are scheduled for February 18, 2011.
