Uganda's Museveni, Besigye set for third electoral face-off, VOA News (2010)

This article reports on the Uganda electoral officials' decision to allow President Museveni and chief rival Besigye to run in the next presidential election. Many other candidates registered, but experts believe that Mr. Besigye is the only real challenge to his former-ally Mr. Museveni. Museveni has ruled Uganda since 1986, and won three elections since the introduction of multi-party polls in 1995.
